ABACUS digital Co., Ltd. , a DataTech company, was founded in 2017 with the goal of leveraging technology to address social issues by creating better financial opportunities for people and reducing social inequality in Thailand, especially for individuals with low credit scores who are currently burdened with informal debt.

To achieve this goal, the company launched “MoneyThunder” in 2019, a 100% online lending application. Users can apply for loans, withdraw, and make payments through the application 24/7. The key feature of MoneyThunder lies in the use of proprietary technology developed with an in-depth understanding of the Thai consumer market. This includes an AI system that analyzes risk and approves loans in as fast as two minutes, as well as a customer service system that uses a chatbot to assist users.

In addition to designing products and services that meet user needs, MoneyThunder also recognizes the importance of financial discipline and is committed to supporting and promoting financial iteracy among its users through various channels.

Today, MoneyThunder has provided loan opportunities to Thai people, with over 20 million downloads. Notably, one-third of MoneyThunder users previously used informal loans, and more than 50% of users have experienced an improvement in income after receiving a loan. This success underscores our commitment to expanding financial access for Thai people.
