BEST DESIGN (GRAPHIC DESIGN)

Our client wanted Eathai to be a new dining destination offering only the best selection of authentic Thai restaurants from all over Thailand. When starting the project, we dug deep into several researches to learn every aspect of Thai dining culture. We focused on everyday authentic Thai foods every Thai has experienced. We target to create a sense of “At Eathai, you will eat like a Thai” through our visual communication. After that, we searched for stories to tell, we continued to observe Thai-dining-culture-related vernacular around the country.

After all research, we chose to tell a unique story of each region’s dishes, cooking styles, unique ingredients, and how they eat. Our approach was to use friendly copywriting, sounding as if the stories are being told by a welcoming host who knows everything about Thai food. All visual execution was designed based on the discovered local vernaculars but in a refined visual language in order to achieve a luxury yet local combination.
