‘Baan Celadon’ was initiated in 1989 by Miss Kanda Kanjanakorn, who was a visionary leader, determining to carry on Lanna Thai traditional as well as Thai method of Celadon production by maintaining the handmade procedures which is soon being replaced by machines. Later on, handmade process has been developed to add more value to products and to make celadon more interesting. Hand carved and hand painted with lively designs characterizing on Thainess by Baan Celadon have then become well known to all the tourists and people around the world.
