An acronym for Integrating Design Into Nature, IDIN Architects was founded in 2004 by Mr. Jeravej Hongsakul. IDIN perceives nature’ in two ways. First, the ecology around us. Second, it an also refer to different mannerisms and personalities. IDIN’s design philosophy is to merge this sense of surroundings, the ‘natures’, to the architectural aesthetic, through a process of analyzing and prioritizing the different needs and requirements of each project.

The Thai word “idin” is used to describe the natural phenomenon when soil releases a beautiful scent after rainfall. This symbolizes
Thailand’s tropical climate, something all IDIN designs aim to respond to. Our emphasis is placed not only on aesthetics, but also on being practical, in order to suit this temperate environment.

IDIN received several International awards e.g. Architizer A+ 2024, Arcasia Awards for Architecture 2021 and 2023, Golden Pin Design Award 2023, DFA Design for Asia Awards 2020 and 2023, Good Design Award 2021, the Prix Versailles South Asia and the Pacific 2020 and 2023, The Plan Award 2020, German Design Award 2018.
