In 1976, Mrs. Napaporn Jindavaranon, also known as “J Lek” and her husband, Mr. Kajornkieat Jindavaranon, started to sell curry paste products in the Klong Rangsit Canal. They decided to establish their business with believe to provide the finest quality of Thai curry paste, Thai chili paste and authentic Thai Sweet Chili sauce. Together named the company Namprik Klong Rangsit promoting J Lek Brand based in Klong Rangsit, Pathumthani, Thailand in 1986.

In 1999, With the increasing number of our customers throughout the country K.R.S. SPICY FOOD CO.,LTD was established to serve our premium quality product to all market sectors including food service, industrial and retailers. The factory was awarded for OTOP, GMP and HACCP certifications for it’s enhanced manufacturing process. We pride our name as K.R.S. is the shorten name of “Klong Rang Sit” which is a 128 kilometer canal named by our King RAMA 5th of The Kingdom of Thailand.

In 2003, K.R.S. SPICY FOOD was pleased to introduce our new bottling facility which was certified for British Retailer Consortium BRC and International Food Standard IFS. Our export business commenced in the year with customers from Europe, USA and ASIA.
K.R.S. SPICYFOOD has been awarded the 5 stars OTOP for Pla-Korb chili
paste product in 2010-2012 and received the 4 stars OTOP award for Kung-Klang-Dong chili paste product in year 2012-2014. Moreover, K.R.S. SPICY FOOD was certified for the FAIR TRADE Standard and it is our pride to not only be the first company in Thailand but also the first in South East Asia to produce the FAIR TRADE Thai Curry Pastes and Thai Dipping Sauces category in 2012. K.R.S. SPICY FOOD also values the sustainability in the supply chain and the well-being of all our stakeholders including farmers who provide us with finest agricultural products.

K.R.S. SPICYFOOD has also received the TMA SME EXCELLENCE AWARD in 2011 and received the Good Governance award in year 2012.

In the year coming 2015, K.R.S. SPICY FOOD is pleased to introduce our new facility which specializes in producing Thai Curry Pastes, Cooking Sauces, Curry Cooking Sauce and Ready to Eat Meal Kits.

Thanks to the commitment in providing customers with products of finest quality and the distinctive expertise gained throughout the years have helped the company established its reputation across the continents. We now have customers from all over the world including Germany, United Kingdom, USA, Belgium, Japan, Taiwan, The Netherland, France, Sweden, Finland, Switzerland, Australia, Israel and more.
