Founded in 2001, Phutawan started with a keen interest in medicinal plants of Thailand and organic, natural local ingredients. They started by experimenting with hot and cold soap making techniques and tried different mixtures and ingredients to make soaps that suited the needs of their friends and family. Word spread and people loved their soaps and it became so popular that it turned into their family business and they not only manufactured, but opened their first retail market space. In 2002 making them they the first producers of this kind of product in their native Samut Prakan province.

In the years that followed until today, they have adhered to one ideology which is to deliver the best products from the best purest ingredients that nature has to offer. From its conception, Phutawan has developed more than 300 different quality products which do not contain chemicals that harm the skin, has adhered to the GMP, has had extensive growth in the domestic and international markets and is still a family owned and run business which strives to innovate and create the best organic, natural products for their family and yours.
